The Professional Beauty E-Training Center (PBEC) has employed administrative staff with experience in developing and managing quality vocational education programs. Many are also working makeup artists.  Our staff is committed to insuring that you have an excellent educational experience. We pride ourselves on our customer service and urge you to speak with any of our staff or instructors if you have any questions or concerns. If you have an issue that is not resolved as quickly as you had hoped, please ask to speak with the Student Services Assistant.  The Assistant will quickly resolve your issue or bring it to the attention of the School Director.

Phyllis R. Quinn, Director

Ms. Quinn has over twenty years experience as a full-time academic and vocational/career educator and has been a mentor teacher for several years. She has also served as a consultant to colleges, universities, government agencies and non-profit organizations in the areas of program development, evaluation, funding, and accreditation. . Ms. Quinn has been trained in, and has implemented, Management/Employee Problem Solving. Her skills have been used to organize and implement many career oriented programs throughout her community. She is also currently the Teacher Technology Leader.

Mr. Curry has an extensive background in corporate finance, venture financing, acquisitions, mergers, corporate operations and public accounting. He has been involved in the establishment and operations of several prominent computer consulting and software corporations. As a webmaster he has considerable experience with web design, hosting, and publishing. He has been responsible for developing and over-seeing profitable sales and management teams for numerous diversified businesses. Mr. Booth has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in communications and certification in Hazardous Waste Management.

The Professional Beauty E-Training Center Corporate Office is located in the beautiful city of Cypress, California.

  The instructors utilize an array of professional resources, instructional aids, books, magazines, and editorial publications from the school’s library.

Administrative Office hours are ongoing to insure both day and evening students, instructors, and staff have access to the support they need to succeed.

Instructors will be online at scheduled times to allow the student one-on-one counseling and training.

Special arrangements can be made to communicate with Admissions Counselors, Administrative Staff, the Student Services Assistant and/or Faculty Members.

Objectives

To provide quality training through carefully crafted curriculum taught by experienced instructors and artists.

Goal:

To provide education and training leading to various levels of employment in the field of makeup artistry for:

Ø      individuals seeking entry level employment, 

Ø      makeup artists seeking upgrade training leading to freelance work and/or job enhancement,

Ø      professionals seeking continuing education to:

¨       maintain skills,

¨       enhance their repertoire, and/or

¨       keep abreast of current issues and trends in the industry.

Target Population:

Our students represent a segment of society that is highly creative, fashion forward and both sensitive and attracted to what is in style.  They are artistic and are sensitive to the needs of others and enjoy working with people.  They are “care givers” who derive their satisfaction from helping others realize their inner as well as their outer beauty.  They are typically extroverted and entrepreneurial. 

It takes a special person to be a successful makeup artist. In selecting candidates for enrollment, we look for applicants with a passion for:

¨       people,

¨       art,

¨       fashion, and

¨       beauty.
